Letter requesting financial support for Solidarity
Dear representatives of FIMEM movements,
First of all, we hope you are starting this 2026 with a spirit of strength, determination, and resilience to move forward and achieve the necessary struggles. A cooperative hug!
We are writing to you regarding the following:
In the context of the International Meeting of Freinet Educators (RIDEF), which will take place in Poland in 2026, we find ourselves in need to kindly request your financial cooperation in order to extend Solidarity Support to our colleagues who have requested it so that they may participate in the Meeting. FIMEM’s current financial reserves are limited, and the current international economic situation is presenting us with significant challenges that exceed our liquidity.
FIMEM has always been an example of solidarity and international cooperation, and it is in this spirit that we are reaching out to you to request your support. Your contribution would be of great help in providing financial support for the participation of our colleagues from less favored countries without affecting FIMEM’s economic base.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be valuable to the entire community. Your support will enable us to continue our commitment to spreading and strengthening Freinet pedagogy.
